Potomac Rugby Foundation Academy Presents a Kicking Clinic for Players and Coaches with Rugby Union and League Professional Kicking Coach Damien Hill

For: Coaches and players of all levels – Kicking (general play, goal, tactical)

When: RAIN OR SHINE ! Saturday, May 11, 2019

Where: Parker-Gray Stadium, T.C. Williams High School
3300 King St. Alexandria, VA 22302

Time: 10am – 12:00 pm (Registration @ 9:30am)

Cost: $40 per person (cash/check payable to Potomac Rugby Foundation)

Damien Hill is currently the kicking coach the Australian Wallabies National Union Men’s Team. Previously, he coached for the Brumbies (Super 15) and the West Tigers and Newcastle Knights teams (Australian National Rugby League) as well as working as the kicking coach at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) and as a kicking specialist for the Tongan Rugby Union.

Damien has visited the United States on many occasions working with the kickers from programs such as Penn State University, Life University, Stanford University, University of Santa Barbara, University of Maryland, Gonzaga College High School and now, Old Glory DC RFC

The Session Damien will be presenting an interactive session on kicking in general play, goal kicking and tactical kicking selection during the May 11th clinic. There will be a Coaches Q & A session to follow. Damien offers technical correction and adjustment for all aspects of kicking including kick offs, kicking in general play, tactical kicking selection and goal kicking. In addition, he works with kickers one on one filming and providing video analysis and feedback as well as providing kickers with drills and training techniques that they can work on their own.

Potomac Rugby Foundation Academy (www.highschoolrugbyacademy.com/ ) (www.facebook.com/highschoolrugbyacademy ) is an independent rugby immersion and development program for rugby players in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area.

An initiative of the Potomac Rugby Foundation (www.rugby-foundation.org/ ) (www.facebook.com/pages/Potomac-Rugby-Foundation/386139931455628 ), the goal of the Rugby Academy is to prepare high school players to go on to play rugby in college.
